After a late breakfast, we set off towards our main goal of the day, Musée Rodin. Interesting walk though the Tuleries and across the Seine at Pont de la Concorde.
Musée Rodin is housed in the former Hotel Biron, an amazing building and fantastic collection.
Our walk back to Montmarte took in the Invalides area and an entertaining walk down Blvds des Capucines and Italiens with all the top end fashion stores and cafes. We tried macarons from Laduée and also coffee and pastries at a patisserie we couldn’t walk past
Also found this interesting art precinct with galleries, bookshops and philately shops right on our doorstep in Montmarte.
Dinner tonight at Bouillon Chartier. Famous restaurant in an amazing old building. Escargots were great.
